We’ve been servicing the Kingsway properties for eight years. We know the value of a familiar snow team, clear building information and a straightforward way to get in touch. Our next step puts that connection right at the property.
As part of our Snow Intelligence app rollout, we’ll be adding snow-removal lawn signs with a QR code specific to each building across our Metro Vancouver service properties. One scan takes you to the right property page and the PlowWow team looking after it.
A different code for each building
We’re preparing separate signs for 5549 Kingsway and 5593 Kingsway, Burnaby. They sit beside one another in the same service story, but their QR codes lead to different building pages. That distinction helps keep a message about one property from being confused with its neighbour.
The signs carry the PlowWow mascot, a clearly labelled building address, our phone number and a large, high-contrast QR code. There is also a short written web address beneath the code, so reaching the building page does not depend on scanning.
Reach the snow team from the property
A resident, building contact or person arriving at the site can scan the sign, check the building address and call or text PlowWow. The text link includes the building address in the draft message; you review and send it from your own messaging app.
If you are flagging an icy area or an access issue, tell us which entrance, walkway or part of the site you mean. A photograph can help the team understand the location. Keeping the property and the concern together makes that conversation clearer.
Our public building pages provide those contact options now. They are the property-specific access point for the wider Snow Intelligence rollout. We’ll keep building on that connection as the rollout progresses.
Eight years of Kingsway winter work

5549 Kingsway, Burnaby: the commercial frontage and parking area in winter. Original PlowWow site photograph, recovered from the archived Metrotown uploads.
The technology is new. The relationship is established. Eight years serving these Kingsway properties means this rollout starts with sites we already work at, with established service relationships.
A lawn sign is a small, visible part of the service. It puts the right contact in the place where someone needs it: outside the building, beside the winter conditions they are asking about.
