PlowWow provides commercial snow removal and de-icing across Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. We build a site-specific winter plan around how your property actually operates: when staff arrive, where customers walk, which entrances must open first, where delivery vehicles turn and where snow can be stored safely.
This page is for retail, office, industrial and mixed-use properties that need dependable access—not a vague promise that somebody will arrive after the storm.

For an active property, the work is usually more than clearing the centre of a parking lot. A complete plan can include traffic lanes, stalls, fire routes, loading zones, garbage areas, ramps, stairs, curb cuts, sidewalks and the pedestrian path from parking to each occupied entrance.
What a commercial snow plan includes
Snow plowing and lot clearing
The plowing route is planned around parked vehicles, loading schedules, tight corners and approved snow-storage areas. Open travel lanes and priority access points are cleared first, then parking and secondary areas are completed as conditions and site access allow.
Sidewalks, entrances and pedestrian routes
Crews clear the high-use pedestrian route, including entrances, accessible approaches, stairs and connecting sidewalks included in the property plan. Smaller equipment and hand crews are assigned where a truck or loader cannot safely work.
Salting and de-icing
De-icing is matched to the forecast, surface condition and agreed service trigger. Pre-treatment may be recommended when freezing conditions are expected. Post-plow applications focus on refreeze risk, shaded areas, slopes, entrances and other known trouble spots.
Loading docks and delivery access
Loading areas need a different sequence than ordinary parking stalls. Dock approaches, turning space and delivery lanes can be prioritized around operating hours so snow piles do not block trailers, doors or visibility. See our Campbell Heights loading-dock snow plan for a practical industrial example.
Snow relocation
Long storms and repeated events can use up the available storage space. When piles begin to reduce sightlines, parking capacity or access, snow relocation and hauling can be added to the plan.
Built around your operating hours
A useful commercial agreement identifies what must be open first and when. Priorities may include an early staff entrance, a public opening time, a scheduled delivery window or uninterrupted emergency access. Those priorities are recorded before winter so crews are not guessing during a storm.
Service frequency and pricing depend on the property size, service areas, trigger depth, operating hours, equipment access, slopes, snow-storage limits and de-icing requirements. We quote the actual site rather than publishing a flat price that ignores those differences.
Service records for property managers
Commercial winter maintenance should be traceable. PlowWow can document service visits with time, location and work details so property managers have a clearer record of what was completed. For multi-unit residential sites, review our dedicated strata snow-removal service. For routing and operations, see the snow-removal management system.

Request a commercial site review
Send the property address, operating hours and the areas you need serviced through the commercial snow-removal quote form, or call 604-761-1518. We will review access, priority zones and likely snow-storage constraints before preparing the service plan.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide seasonal commercial snow-removal contracts?
Yes. Seasonal and site-specific arrangements are available based on the property, service trigger, operating schedule and required scope. The quote identifies what is included so the priorities are clear before the first event.
Can PlowWow clear both the parking lot and sidewalks?
Yes. Parking lots, traffic lanes, sidewalks, stairs and entrances can be combined in one property plan when they are included in the quoted scope.
Do you service loading docks and industrial properties?
Yes. Industrial plans can prioritize dock approaches, trailer turning areas, gates, fire routes and employee access around the site's operating schedule.
Is salting included with snow plowing?
De-icing requirements vary by property. The proposal states whether salting is scheduled, condition-based or requested separately, and identifies the areas to be treated.
How is commercial snow-removal pricing determined?
Pricing depends on the size and layout of the site, snow trigger, operating hours, equipment access, slopes, sidewalk length, parking configuration, snow-storage limits and de-icing requirements. A site review produces a more reliable quote than a flat advertised price.
