WHY BOOK WITH PLOWWOW?

For seasonal commercial, residential and strata clients, we book routes around a five-hour return window in normal conditions. We match the number of properties to our equipment, people and route capacity before we accept the work.

Your agreement defines when the service window starts and what is included. Extreme or prolonged snowfall, road access problems and equipment disruption can affect that window. We keep working through the conditions and communicate when the plan needs to change.

When one storm becomes several visits

Routine service under your seasonal agreement generally does not attract an extra storm surcharge. Exceptional heavy or prolonged snowfall—including back-to-back accumulation that requires multiple visits or extended operations—may carry additional service charges under your contract. The applicable conditions, included visits and extra-work rates are set out in your agreement. This helps cover the additional equipment, materials and crew time needed to keep serving committed clients through an extraordinary event.

HOUR ROUTE TARGET

We book seasonal routes around a five-hour return window in normal conditions. Your agreement defines the trigger, timing and service scope.

EVENT PACKS

A defined pack for clients planning snow and salt events without a full seasonal commitment. Ask what is included for your property.

MONTH CONTRACTS

Monthly instalments are available on three-year contracts. Your quote confirms the payment schedule and seasonal service coverage.

Committed service. Carefully limited routes.

We do not sell more work than we can responsibly service. Winter readiness takes trucks, trained staff, storage space, insurance and backup resources. We plan those commitments for the whole season, with extra equipment and a contractor network to support the work. Our goal is competitive pricing and attentive service for the clients who plan with us.

On-call service

After committed routes, available crews may accept extra work. Acceptance depends on capacity, conditions and the work still ahead.

Salt ready. Before demand spikes.

We store salt ahead of winter to reduce our exposure to the shortages seen in past seasons. Stock planning supports our committed routes; it is part of preparing, not scrambling when the forecast changes.

Our people need a plan, too.

Committed clients come first. After their routes, drivers can assess the coming day or night and choose whether they have capacity for on-call work. We do not pressure tired crews to take extra jobs.

Seasonal proposals use local historical averages as a planning baseline. Five-pack per-service pricing is 20% above the seasonal baseline; on-call pricing is a further 20% above the five-pack rate (44% above that same seasonal baseline). Comparisons use equivalent service scope. Actual weather varies. Your written quote defines included events, snow and salt scope, response terms, excess-event charges and payment arrangements.
